NFLPLAYERS.com Season Record – 9-15 (Words cannot describe how I feel.)
Week 7 Game of the Week
Leon Washington (Jet Lizzle) vs. Roy Williams (Odessa CowHorns)
Parity reigns supreme in NFL PLAYERS Fantasy ’09. Six out of eight owners currently reside in the land of average with 3-3 records. Leon Washington leads the cluttered pack at 4-2 and Roy Williams is the cellar dweller at 2-4. So, what better way to celebrate parity then by matching up the two teams who don’t actually have identical records? A victory by Williams would clutter the standings to unbearable measures. We could be looking at all 4-3 and 3-4 records…unbelievable! One last tidbit, Williams has lost four straight. Bring in the paramedics because the Odessa CowHorns need to be resuscitated!

In Our Other Week 7 picks…
Week 7 Golden Nugget: For those in PPR leagues, get in on a little secret…Ray Rice is the best running back. That’s right, No. 1 ranked, there is nobody better. So does that mean you should trade Adrian Peterson straight up for Ray Rice? Well, not exactly. But Rice’s perceived value far underscores his true value and that is the perfect type of player to target in a trade.
Now that the Cato June we remember from last year’s fantasy season is back in the swing of things, this season could get really interesting. In Week 6, June recorded an all-time league-high score with 206 points. This week, Robbie Gould gets to feel the wrath of June. Both teams have three of their regulars on bye. We’ll take the guy who has a fantasy championship trophy in his study.
Dave Stasinski, the most famous fantasy owner around these days, has recovered from his 0-3 start in an absolutely huge way. Now sitting at 3-3, he is riding high and most likely keeping quiet on the message boards until he seizes sole possession of first place. It may not be long, because he is going to take down DeAngelo Williams in a hard-fought battle this weekend. Keep in mind, Williams is also riding a three-game win streak.
In a battle of studly running backs, Ronnie Brown and Matt Forté, both put their 3-3 records on the line. Expect a lot of wonderful quarterback play, as between the two owners, names such as Favre, Schaub, Cutler and Rivers will be in their starting lineups. This will be a shoot out, but Brown wins it in a tight one.
